Katy Perry wows at VMAs

Katy Perry made her fifth appearance to the MTV Video Music Awards last Thursday, and she looked better than ever. According to Us Weekly, the starlet donned an Elie Saab gown that was complete with a sheer skirt and leather detailing. She paired the look with long black hair extensions, Jimmy Choo shoes, a Sethi Couture ring and drop earrings.

Perry walked the red carpet with her friend, jewelry designer Markus Molinari. John Mayer, who she has been linked to all summer, was not there. The two were spotted leaving a restaurant together in Los Angeles, and Perry and Mayer seemed quite friendly. Even though they apparently broke up a couple of weeks ago, TMZ reports that it looks like they are back on.

Their relationship started soon after Perry and former husband Russell Brand publicly split, the media outlet reports.
