Actress Halle Berry recently announced that she and boyfriend actor Olivier Martinez are planning a wedding. All of the details surrounding her beautiful engagement ring was recently released, according to People Magazine.

The 4-carat emerald ring was designed by Robert Mazlo. Mazlo explained that the stone is from Muzo, Colombia, and is the perfect hue. It includes two diamonds in a yellow-gold setting. The jeweler also described the ring as a one-of-a-kind design that truly cannot be replicated.

"The ring is textured and contains codes and symbols which you cannot see … only the person wearing it can," Mazlo told the news source. "It’s very uncommon. The symbols and codes represent [the couple's] story and only they can interpret it."
