Angelina Jolie flashes engagement ring for the first time at a public event

Angelina Jolie has always been a private person, and this includes her relationship with now-finance Brad Pitt. Even though the 37-year-old actress has kept out of the limelight since announcing her engagement in April, she recently attended the 18th Sarajevo Film Festival in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and she flashed her engagement ring for the first time at a public event.

Jolie looked fantastic in a silky, draped beige top, black skinny pants and peep-toe pumps this past Saturday. Not to mention, the $500,000 sparkler, Us Weekly reports.

According to The Huffington Post, the actress wasn't just at the event to show off her ring. In fact, she was honored with the Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo award for her directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey. The film is a dark love story taking place during the Bosnian War.
