Beautiful dresses and jewels that weren't at the Oscars

Hollywood was absolutely flooded with stars this past weekend, as the Academy Awards bring all sorts of A-lists celebrities into the city. However, those who did not have a ticket to the Oscars, may have been at the Vanity Fair Oscar dinner.

According to the New York Daily News, the guest list of 130 people was a mix of small and silver screen stars including Steve Martin, Jon Hamm, George Lucas and Claire Danes.

The gowns were just as beautiful at this event as they were on the red carpet. Sofia Vergara wowed in a floor-length white appliqued gown that hugged her curves. She matched it with a colorful clutch, some massive chandelier earrings, big bangles on her wrist and a large ring to top it off, according to People Magazine.

Kate Hudson also looked fantastic, as she wore a red hot Atelier Versace gown with an illusion neckline. She paired the look with Brian Atwood pumps and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
