Beyonce glistens in gold at recent premiere

Beyonce is known for her impeccable style and show-stopping presence no matter what event she is attending, and this was no different when she arrived at the premiere of her HBO documentary, "Life Is But A Dream," in New York City on Tuesday night. According to The Huffington Post, the stunning starlet wowed in a gold sparkly Elie Saab Couture gown, which she paired with dazzling drop earrings. 

The documentary is reportedly a very close look at her personal life, which is a surprise since she and husband Jay-Z have been extremely private thus far. According to The Associated Press, the "Single Ladies" singer is hoping to inspire her daughter, 1-year-old Blue Ivy, with this film as she gets older.

"I hope that she will see all of the beautiful times [and] all the tough times that led up to her being here," Beyonce told the news source. "I'm hoping that ... it can comfort her and inspire her in her life when she needs it."

The film is complete with personal conversations the singer had over the past couple of years, as Beyonce used a video camera on her computer to record her feelings as well as her experiences. The documentary also includes home movies of her growing up with her two sisters, the media outlet reports. The Grammy-winner was open about very personal matters such as her miscarriage and the reports that she was faking her pregnancy with Blue Ivy. The singer admits that talking to the camera was a form of therapy, and helped her through these tough times and more. 

"I really grew so much," she says of the process. "This movie has really been my therapy. I've healed from so many wounds and I've been able to understand why some of the things I've been through, why I went through, so feel really proud, and hopefully I can inspire other people."

Since the star has been tight-lipped previously, people were surprised that she would release such a personal story, but she felt that this was the perfect time, as her fans truly didn't know her as well as she thought they should, the news outlet reports.
