Beyonce rocked the house during the Super Bowl halftime show
The Super Bowl had a great deal of ups and downs. Not only was the game itself exciting, especially toward the end, but there was also a 30-minute delay when the power went out during the second half. Despite the twists and turns, it seems that many couldn't help but discuss the amazing performance by Beyonce during the halftime show.
According to The Associated Press, Beyonce showed all of the naysayers that she can certainly sing, following the controversy two weeks ago when she sang to a back track of the national anthem at President Barack Obama's inauguration. She started off the night with her hit "Love On Top," while the bright lights of burst from the sides. Her confidence grew as she sang "Crazy In Love" with her all-female band and background dancers.
Then - to all of the Destiny's Child fans' delight - Beyonce introduced Kelly Rolland and Michelle Williams. The trio sang hits such as "Bootylicious" and "Independent Women," and the crowd couldn't help but go wild when the three broke out into Beyonce's iconic "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)." Beyonce also sang some of the hits "End of Time" and "Baby Boy," and ended with arguably her best of the night, "Halo."
Not to mention, the diva donned a leather and lace bodysuit that only Beyonce could rock so well, and she looked nothing short of fantastic during the 13-minute performance. The audience and fans alike were in awe of the skilled performance that put Madonna's and the Black Eyed Peas' performances in the past two years to shame.
Those who do not want to wait for someone else to "put a ring on it" can invest in some costume jewelry such as the 7.15 TCW Round Cubic Zirconia Engagement/Anniversary Ring In Platinum Over Sterling Silver for much less.
