'Boy Meets World' star Rider Strong pops the question

Rider Strong, who is best known for his former character, Shawn Hunter, on "Boy Meets World," recently announced he popped the question to longtime love Alexandra Barreto, Us Weekly reports.

The engagement ring itself is quite beautiful with three diamonds in a unique design. What's more is that Strong himself created the ring, according to E! Online.

Strong has been back in the spotlight as of late, since news broke that there will be a spin-off of "Boy Meets World." The new series, titled "Girl Meets World," will star Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage, as they raise their 13-year-old daughter, Riley. However, Strong has no part in the new series quite yet.

"At this point, I have no official involvement in 'Girl Meets World,'" Strong said recently. "It's the next generation. And I, for one, can't wait to see it evolve."
