Camila Alves shows off engagement ring at New York Fashion Week

Camila Alves made her first appearance since longtime boyfriend actor Matthew McConaughey popped the question over the holidays, according to People Magazine.

The 29-year-old model donned a red lace dress at the QVC's runway show in New York this past Wednesday night. Many couldn't help but notice - and admire - her extra bling. Alves showed off her three-stone rose cut engagement ring, as she walked the red carpet, Us Weekly reports. She expressed how much she loves being engaged, and wearing the ring.

Even though the two are planning to tie the knot, the plans are currently on hold due to her flourishing handbag line. She designs the line with her mother, and she told the media outlet that it is truly a family affair, as McConaughey has a lot of input as well.

"Matthew has great taste," Alves told the news source. "He always has great opinions on what works and what doesn't. We are one big family so we share everything - including opinions on the creations for the line."
