Alves accompanied her new husband of only three weeks, and photographers caught a little something extra on the couple's wedding ring, according to E! Online. Alves had "xoxo" engraved on her ring, and McConaughey had "6.22." Even though many assume that is their wedding date, they would be incorrect. In fact, it is his favorite Bible passage from the Gospel of Matthew.

It reads, "The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light."

This passage was also read aloud at their wedding, the media outlet reports.
