Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert wow at the ACM Awards

The 47th annual Academy of Country Awards took place this past Sunday night, and a number of A-list country stars looked magnificent.

Carrie Underwood certainly turned heads at the event, as the singer donned a beautiful and embellished Abed Mahfouz gown, according to People Magazine. The strapless gown was paired with a few stand out rings, silver peep-toe pumps and her hair in loose waves. Underwood was nominated for two awards, but left the event looking fantastic, but empty-handed.

Another starlet who wowed was Miranda Lambert. This country star wore a bright gold Randi Rahm halter with matching Fred Leighton jewels, Us Weekly reports. Not only did Lambert get to check out her husband Blake Shelton host the awards with Reba McEntire, but she took home two awards herself. Lambert took home her third consecutive Female Vocalist Award and also her third Album of the Year for "Four the Record."
