When strolling in front of the flashing paparazzi bulbs during the Gotham Independent Films Awards, Charlize Theron exuded nothing but confidence in a daring, low cut dress by Gucci.

The actress is arguably one of the most beautiful people in the world, and she demonstrated her fine figure in a black and white halter gown with a gold belt. The front of her dress was cut down to her midsection, but while most people would want to draw the audience's attention elsewhere, Theron took the plunge.

According to InStyle, the screen siren accented her décolletage with long gold chains, which perfectly complemented her strappy gold sandals and the dress's belt.

Keeping the rest of her fashion jewelry to a minimum, Theron turned to black accessories to complete the look, choosing a headband and sleek clutch.

In an effort to contrast her simple color scheme, Theron sported bright pink lips that really made her smile stand out. In order to balance the look, the actress kept her eye makeup fresh and basic, letting her lips do the talking.
