Claire Danes looks stunning at An Evening with Homeland event

Actress Claire Danes attended An Evening with Homeland at the Television Academy in North Hollywood to celebrate the success of her latest show Homeland, according the Daily Mail.

The actress looked nothing like the CIA agent she plays in the show as she donned an adorable skirt with an animal print blouse. She paired the look with sky-high peep-toe pumps and a simple bracelet to complete the ensemble.

According to ContactMusic, Danes loved playing a CIA agent, and she loved meeting CIA operations officers to study for her role as Carrie Mathison.

"They were very forthcoming about their experiences. I was elated after that day," Danes told the media outlet. ''It was a thrill to peek inside that culture.''

The show is about Danes' character suspecting a U.S. prisoner of war, who is played by Damian Lewis, of being turned while he was captured by Islamic terrorists for eight years. She believes he is planning a terrorist attack.  It has finished its first season.
