Daphne Guinness goes bold in her eccentric look

The British Fashion Awards were held last night, and some of the most well-known individuals in the industry brought their A-game to the red carpet.

While the main purpose of the event was to toast such famed designers as Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham and Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, attendees wanted to make sure they were recognized for their fashion choices.

Perhaps one of the most jaw dropping looks of the night belonged to Daphne Guinness. This should come as no surprise, as the heiress was rocking outlandish outfits before Lady Gaga made it cool.

According to CoCo Perez, Guinness wore a black patent leather origami outfit designed by Gareth Pugh. The eccentric outfit featured razor-sharp edges and exaggerated curves.

In an effort to complement the wild ensemble, the couture lover went bold with her personalized jewelry choices. Sporting rings that covered her entire finger on both hands, gold cuffs and cocktail rings, it seemed as though there was nothing thematic about Guinness' jewel choice other than to make a statement.

However, her oversized black choker fit her outfit to a T, perhaps distracting the rest of us from the various black combs in Guinness' hair meant to resemble a headpiece.
