Debra Messing shines at 150th BAM anniversary

A number of stars came out for the Brooklyn Academy of Music's 150th anniversary party in New York, and Debra Messing was one of the stand out A-list celebrities, according to Us Weekly.

The actress looked gorgeous in a gunmetal gray dress, which she paired with black accessories including a stand out necklace that truly wowed. Messing arrived to the event with boyfriend Will Chase, who both star on the NBC's latest hit show Smash.

According to Elle Magazine, the actress, who used to star in Will & Grace, recently told the publication why working on a television show is both terrifying and exciting.

"Every week we would be called together as a full cast to read the next week’s script, and every week inevitably I would exclaim in the middle of the reading, 'Oh, my God, are you kidding me,' because there would be some revelation that was completely unexpected, and everyone would laugh, and it became like a running joke," Messing told Elle.
