Duchess of Cambridge brings elegance and beauty to event

Kate Middleton has certainly been known for her fashion ever since she wowed the world in her gorgeous wedding dress this past April. Her regal and elegant fashion sense has not abated, as the Duchess of Cambridge looked amazing when she arrived at the "Night of Heroes" event in London with husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry this past Monday evening.

Middleton donned a black velvet gown designed by the late designer Alexander McQueen's fashion house, which also designed her wedding dress. She paired the gown with matching diamond bracelet and earrings. She wore a ruby and diamond necklace, which was a wedding present, and of course her massive engagement ring and wedding ring.

"I think Kate was suddenly making a statement that she's a far more confident royal now that she’s been in married life for coming up to over half a year," Camilla Tominey, a royal editor of London's Sunday Express newspaper, said in a report that aired on the Today show this past Tuesday.
