Ellen DeGeneres honored with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Comedian and TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres was recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she was joined by her mother, wife and friends Ryan Seacrest and Jimmy Kimmel for the exciting event, according to USA Today.

"It is amazing," DeGeneres told the news source. "I spent my entire career trying to conduct myself in a certain way making sure no one walks all over me only to get to a point where people are going to walk all over me."

DeGeneres looked stylish for the event, as she wore a light grey suit with a white open-neck shirt and a black and white polka dot tie. Portia de Rossi, her wife of four years, looked fantastic in a dark grey shirt dress with tan suede open-toe booties and a massive bangle, the Daily Mail reports.
