Heidi Klum and Seal call it quits, still wear wedding rings

It came as a shock to many that model Heidi Klum and singer Seal have separated. The couple, who have four children together, announced that the split has been amicable.

The couple, who renewed their vows every year since they got hitched seven years ago, are still sporting their wedding bands.

"It's just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman," Seal told Ellen Degeneres on her show Wednesday. "We have eight years, eight wonderful years together. Just because we have decided to separate doesn't necessarily mean you take off your ring and you're no longer connected to that person. We will be connected in many ways 'til the rest of our lives."

Seal added that he has no intention of taking off his ring any time soon, as it feels comfortable on his hand.

Klum has also been spotted wearing her wedding ring since the announcement.

Seal proposed to Klum in British Columbia in December 2004. He gave her a yellow diamong ring that amounted to approximately 10 carats.
