Helen Mirren given a star on the Walk of Fame

Helen Mirren looked absolutely stunning when she stepped out on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to be honored with her own star. According to People Magazine, the 67-year-old iconic actress looked fantastic in a purple shift dress with a matching coat, a massive cocktail ring and hoop earrings.

It comes as no surprise to many that Mirren would be honored with her own star. According to the Los Angeles Times, her star is located right next to Colin Firth's - something she was excited about. One thing's for sure, she was definitely thrilled about the recognition and even joked a bit.

"This is such, honestly, the most spectacular day for me," Mirren told the news source. "I'm so very, very proud to be henceforth walked upon, have fries dropped upon, maybe even be peed upon by future generations of tourists, Angelenos and their dogs. But please, please, no chewing gum."
