Jennifer Garner pretty in plum at Oscars

Jennifer Garner has been making the rounds this awards season in support of her husband Ben Affleck while also presenting at the majority of the ceremonies, and every time she hits the red carpet, she does not disappoint. This was no different when she arrived at the Academy Awards this past Sunday.

According to People magazine, the stunning A-lister wowed in a plum strapless Gucci frock, which was complete with a billowing ruffle on the back of the tight-fitting gown. She paired the looked with $2.5 million worth of Neil Lane jewels thanks to her rings, 200 carat necklace, drop earrings and dazzling bracelet. 

It was no secret that Garner was proud of her husband, who took home the biggest honor of the night - Best Picture - for his film, "Argo." Affleck starred, directed and produced the film. Even though Affleck was beyond thrilled about the film winning, he still took the time to talk about his soul mate and how happy he's been with his wife since getting together back in 2005, Us Weekly reports. The two have three children together, Violet, Seraphina and Sam. 

"All marriages, all relationships to a certain extent, require your work. They require work and investment," Affleck told Access Hollywood, and then continues his off-the-cuff acceptance speech. "We work on it together, we try our best. Nobody's perfect. I would be lying to you if I said that either she or I were. She's more perfect than I am, I can tell you that."
