Jennifer Lopez celebrates 43rd birthday

Jennifer Lopez always looks fantastic, and she decided to celebrate her 43rd birthday with her family in a red hot Tom Ford dress with a gold cuff bracelet, scarlet red shoes and a Fendi clutch, Us Weekly reports.

Not only is Lopez celebrating her latest birthday, but she is also saying goodbye to being a host on American Idol. She recently confirmed what many have been assuming for weeks.

"I honestly feel like just the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do, that I've put kind of on hold because I love 'Idol' so much. You know what I mean?...I could just keep doing 'Idol' for the rest of my life, but that would be giving up a bunch of other things, and I just, I don't know, I feel like we had an amazing run," Lopez told Ryan Seacrest on his syndicated radio show.

Now talks of her and Steven Tyler's replacements have surfaced, and it was recently confirmed that Mariah Carey will be taking Lopez's old seat on the show, the media outlet reports.
