Kate Beckinsale shines at premiere of her latest film

It comes as no surprise that actress Kate Beckinsale looked absolutely dazzling at the premiere of her latest film "Underworld: Awakening."

Beckinsale donned a gold Jenny Packham floor-length dress that was was complete with jewels, beads and sequins as she strutted the red carpet with husband Les Wiseman. She paired the dress with several gold bangles. She completed the look of gorgeous fashion jewelry and a shimmering gown with her hair down in loose waves.

This is the fourth installment of the sci-fi franchise. This time around Beckinsale's character Selene wakes up from an enforced sleep to find out she has a daughter, who is played by India Eisley. Beckinsale shared a little insight to the movie and her character.

"So many things have happened to her," Beckinsale said at the premiere. "She's fallen in love and everyone has betrayed her, and she now has a child - I guess in this movie you get to see a little bit more of her vulnerable side, but she also gets more pissed off."
