Kate Middleton wows in blue dress
The Duchess of Cambridge has not made a public appearance in weeks, but she came back into the spotlight looking fantastic. Kate Middleton stepped out to help boost the excitement for the start of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London next week. According to Us Weekly, Middleton donned a bright blue Stella McCartney sheath dress with black Prada pumps and an Olympic-themed statement necklace with gold hoops.
The Duchess arrived at the National Portrait Gallery's Olympic-themed exhibit titled "Road to 2102: Aiming High," according to The Huffington Post. The three-year project showcases the athletes and organizers gearing up for the event. This exhibit is the Portrait Gallery's biggest photographic commission ever created.
This display may have meant more to Middleton than many realize, as the Duchess wrote her art history thesis on the photography of Lewis Carroll, Us Weekly reports.
Those who want to dress like royalty, but do not have the funds to do so, can still opt for fashion jewelry such as the Textured Circle Necklace and Earring Set in Tutone for much less.
