Katharine McPhee shines at NFL Honors

Katharine McPhee looked nothing short of fabulous at the NFL Honors in Indianapolis, Indiana, this past Saturday night.

The singer/actress donned a white short-sleeved dress with colorful bangles and a couple rings, including her engagement ring. She paired the full-skirted dress with nude heels and her short brown hair was tousled to her shoulders.

Viewers will be able too see the American Idol runner-up on NBC's newest series Smash, which has been receiving rave reviews thus far. The show, which premieres February 6, surrounds a Broadway musical, and everything that goes into it.

The reasoning behind its reviews has a lot to do with the stellar cast, including Debra Messing and Megan Hilty along with McPhee, E!Online reports. The song-filled show has many comparing it to Glee, and some wondering why McPhee didn't join that cast when it came out.

"I never got a call for Glee," McPhee admits. "I wasn't really pursuing television at the time …but when it came out, I was like, 'Oh man, I wish I would've known about that!' because I love the show."
