Katherine Heigl looks elegant at AFI Awards, talks being a mom of two

Katherine Heigl is known for her stellar style, and that was no different when she arrived on TV Land's black carpet for the American Film Institute's lifetime achievement awards. According to Us Weekly, the actress donned a black Monique Lhuillier gown with bronze detailing, which she paired with bronze earrings and shoes.

The blonde bombshell also talked with People Magazine about being a mom of two during the event. Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley recently adopted their second child, Adalaide Marie Hope shortly after her birth. This is the second child they've adopted and it was still a new experience, as their first daughter Naleigh was adopted when she was nine months old.

"I had never had a newborn before. I didn’t really have that experience. So it's all been new," the 33-year-old Heigl told the news source. "I was prepared for the nights and having to get up and all of that. But the beauty of it is it's really only a few months of your life that you're walking around like a zombie because you haven't slept."
