Katy Perry breaks from blue-on-blue ensembles

Katy Perry left her matchy-matchy at home while she walked the streets of London this past weekend, according to Us Weekly.

Perry opted for a form-fitting black dress with gold embellishments. She matched it with some rings and platinum earrings, black pumps and tights, the media outlet reports.

Perry, who recently released her newest single "Part of Me," may soon be collaborating with fellow female artist and good friend Rihanna, according to Access Hollywood.

"We have been working on this for years. We still are trying to make a song together," the Barbados-born beauty told the news source. "She is one of my favorite musicians, as well as one of my favorite people in the industry. She's very uncalculated, very sure of herself, and that’s something very rare in this industry to find."

However, it is up to the two very busy stars to find time in order to produce the music, the news outlet reports.
