Katy Perry looks radiant in red at movie premiere

Katy Perry was a vision of elegance when she arrived at the premiere of her concert film, Katy Perry: Part of Me. According to People Magazine, the starlet channeled a '50s pin-up girl with a strapless scarlet Dolce & Gabbana dress with matching pumps. She paired the look with a Judith Leiber clutch, Norman Silverman earrings and a Tacori bracelet.

The movie documents how Perry came to fame, and also features some of the pivotal points in her life including her 11-month tour from February 2011 to January 2012. However, it is not all happy singing and dancing, as during this time her 14-month marriage to Russell Brand falls apart, according to Us Weekly.

"Some of them are super sensitive and very emotional," Perry told the news source about the more intense scenes. "It's not always very fun, but it's important sometimes to show that real people sometimes have to go through things like this in order to achieve things, because nothing great comes so easily."
