Kristen Bell is simply glowing at recent premiere

Kristen Bell looked stunning when she arrived at the afte?r party for her newest flick "The Lifeguard" at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. According to Us Weekly, the mom-to-be looked fantastic in a purple dress with a leather jacket, statement necklace and black boots. Bell is expecting her first child with fiance? Dax Shepherd later this year.

Those who are familiar with Bell's work are used to seeing her in comedies, but this new film was a dramatic turn for the actress, Hollywire reports.

"It's much more depressing because [my character is] very depressed in the beginning and she desperately wants to fix her life, but doesn't know how and gets tangled in some really bad decisions," Bell told the news source. "So having that cloud of depression over you is very different from shooting a comedy where you're sort of happy all the time."

Even though she is used to comedies, she was attracted to "The Lifeguard" because of Liz Garcia's writing, which she is a big fan of.

"[Garcia] writes females really well and she doesn't shy away from danger or sexuality, yet it still feels like a safe environment. She's a really nice balance and I was just very attracted to this role she wrote and it's much more dangerous of a role then I've ever done before," Bell told the media outlet.

One thing's for sure, Bell is keeping up with her fashion sense even though her belly continues to grow. At the Golden Globes, the glowing blonde donned a loose-fitting Jenny Packham frock, which she paired with drop earrings and her hair in a styled ponytail.
