Mayim Bialik rocks the red carpet even after car accident

Mayim Bialik shined on the red carpet when she stepped out for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Performers Peer Group Reception in Universal City, California. The Big Bang Theory actress donned a curve-hugging gray dress with drop earrings, but many couldn't help but notice her bandaged hand, which was the result of a serious car accident she got in a week before, according to USA Today.

Bialik admitted getting dressed isn't as easy as it was pre-accident, her hand has all its fingers but it is badly injured, People Magazine reports.

"We had already planned on a long sleeve dress. I'm a modest dresser anyway. There are not many dresses that cover your fingertips though so it might take a little of expanding the fabric, trying to get this contraption in a sleek black," she told the news source of the split she garnered after the accident. "I don't think my stylist would let me bedazzle my splint."
