Modern Family stars gear up for real-life weddings

Modern Family was a big winner during the Primetime Emmy Awards, and the stars have plenty to celebrate, as two stars are planning weddings. According to Access Hollywood, Jesse Tyler Ferguson popped the question to his serious boyfriend Justin Mikita just a day before Sofia Vergara's longtime love Nick Loeb did the same.

At the Emmy Awards, E! asked some of the co-stars which wedding they were the most excited to attend, and Julie Bowen may be leaning toward Ferguson's.

"That is a serious toss-up," Bowen told the news source. "I think Jesse's, only because I think I can bully him into making me a groomsman lady and I'm going to keep saying that until he has to. I don't think I could bully Sofia into anything. I want to wear one of his Tie the Knot [bow ties]. I am so into it and I would love to be a groomsman lady."
