Naomi Watts dazzles at charity event

Naomi Watts wowed Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball in London. According to People Magazine, the blonde starlet donned a mermaid-style Marchesa gown complete with a full tulle skirt and winged golden embroidery. She paired the look with a dazzling layered necklace, diamond bracelet and gold peep-toe pumps.

Watts is currently filming a movie about the last two years of Princess Diana's life, and Watts is playing the iconic princess. Recent photos of Watts in costume have surfaced, and the resemblance to Diana is uncanny, according to the Daily Mail. The film, titled Caught In Flight, is due out next year.

"She is a part of our history, an incredible woman and fascinating but a tragic ending," Watts told the news source. "The filmmakers came to me and it's a good script and it's very scary and I kind of wanted to say 'no' but I couldn't."
