New details in on Anne Hathaway's engagement ring

It was announced last month that actress Anne Hathaway is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Adam Shulman. Even though the engagement ring was known to be beautiful, some new details about the big sparkler recently came out, according to US Weekly.

Shulman is an accomplished jeweler himself, as he started the James Bank line in 2011 with Heidi Nahser Fink, he decided to let the well-known jewelers Kwiat Diamond and Fine Jewelry help him out, according to the media outlet.

"He knew the fit himself," the jeweler told the news source. "He wanted something that would be perfect for Anne. We can't talk too much about the details, but he had a good sense of her style and he had a good sense of what he want to present."

The ring turned out to be a 6-carat sparkler that costs around $150,000. The two are now in full wedding planning mode, but there has not been any information released about where or when the couple are going to say "I do."
