New York City's finest attend the Governors Ball kickoff party
It's festival season, even if the rain is coming down in New York City. This weekend, the Governors Ball Music Festival will take over the New York island of the same name, and a number of celebrities came out to attend the SKYY & Sea yacht party in the Big Apple to kick off the event. Anna Kendrick, Chace Crawford and Olivia Palermo showed off their festival attire, and Palermo might have won the style award this time. Showing off her unmatched skill for mixing prints, the city socialite wore a zebra miniskirt, a Diane von Furstenberg sequin black blazer, snakeskin flats and chunky, eccentric bangles to finish off the look. Piling on chic piece after piece, Palermo still looked effortlessly cool as she made her way on board the yacht.
Sticking with a black color palette, Kendrick opted for a more tomboy look, wearing black skinnies and a tweet motorcycle jacket with oxfords. She kept her accessories understated, wearing dangle earrings and nothing else to add to her ensemble. Kendrick looked ready to enjoy a weekend of great music and laid-back fun with hundreds of New York City residents and visitors.
Then there was Crawford, who showed that even men can enhance their look with tasteful accessories. The "Gossip Girl" actor kept things simple with a white T-shirt, relaxed-fit jeans, brown boots and a bold men's watch.
What each of these stars demonstrate is that you can finish off a look with just one eye-catching accessory. Whether it's a stack of bracelets, like the Metal Set Of Four Hammered-Style Bangle Bracelets in rose, black, gold and silver, or a pair of dazzling danglers, like the Round Genuine Onyx And Goldtone Metal Dangle Drop Earrings, that one piece can pull together your entire outfit.
