Nicole Kidman adds girlish touch to her metallic frock

Australian beauty Nicole Kidman is no stranger to having show-stopping moments on the red carpet - she's been showing off her risk-taking fashions for years. However, it was her subtle and understated frock at the Cinema for Peace UN Woman Honorary Dinner in Berlin that had us saying "wow." According to People magazine, Kidman was thanked for her efforts to help women around the globe through the UN during the special occasion. 

At such an elite event like this, it's no wonder why the actress and activist went for a modest style - with a twist. Kidman paired her pale blue, beaded Elie Saab Couture frock with a pair of white, pointed-toe, sling-back heels and stand-out earrings. Though the modest cap-sleeved dress fit her body perfectly and was made more glamorous thanks to the beading, it was her ladylike pink drop earrings that stole the show.

Kidman kept her light red hair pulled back in a low ponytail to accentuate the stunning earrings, proving sometimes less truly is more.
