Nicole Kidman closed out the Cannes ceremony with her best look

The Cannes closing ceremony is the last chance for celebrities to whip out their high-end fashion ensembles, and Nicole Kidman did just that at the 66th annual event. Wearing a custom-made white silk gown by Giorgio Armani, bright red lipstick, a curled updo and dazzling Harry Winston jewels, the Australian-born actress looked like a sparkling angel. After wearing a unique, mohawk-like updo at the beginning of the Cannes festival, onlookers were happy to see her return to her curly roots and try a more traditional, delicate hairstyle.

Kidman was a jury member at the 12-day film festival, and was named best dressed by the reporters from The Huffington Post. According to the news source, one of the favored ensembles was her black leather dress at a Calvin Klein party, although the weather might have made this look slightly unbearable for the actress. Still, she played it cool.

Every time Kidman changed into another gorgeous ensemble, she made sure that her accessories were just as up to par. The dress was supposed to have been worn already on the Oscars red carpet by Anne Hathaway, who had to release a statement of remorse when she decided to wear a pale pink Prada gown to the event instead.
