Reese Witherspoon rocks the perfect black dress for Avon Communication Awards

Actress Reese Witherspoon has a lot more on her plate than just filming movies. The mother-of-two is the Avon global ambassador and honorary chairmen for the Avon Foundation for Women. She recently stepped out to present the winners of Avon Communications Awards: Speaking Out About Violence Against Women.

"I'm proud to be the Honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation for Women, an organization that has the conscience and courage to tackle the quiet epidemic of violence against women around the world," Witherspoon said. The Avon Communications Awards I have the privilege to present demonstrate that violence against women is a global tragedy affecting women of every class, race and ethnicity."

Not only does the actress support a good cause, but she looks good doing it. Witherspoon wore a fitted V-neck dress that was both classy and elegant. She matched the look with black pumps and a seemingly sterling silver or platinum necklace with matching drop earrings. Her blonde locks were worn down with her bangs off to the side.
