Rihanna wows in white drape dress for Battleship premiere

Rihanna has made some fantastic style choices as of late, and the L.A. premiere of her film Battleship was no different. According to People Magazine, the singer-turned-actress donned a draped, high slit white dress with Neil Lane gems and nude sandals.

According to the New York Daily News, this was Rihanna's first film and director Peter Berg knew that Rihanna was going to be a good choice for the role the second she stepped in to audition.

"She came in with just a pair of jeans, a T-shirt, flip flops, her hair back in a ponytail, no makeup, looking very real, and she just started improvising," Berg told the news source. "She had no entourage. She was very professional - first one to work every day, the last one to leave. That girl had such a great work ethic. I said to people, 'If it was easy musically, there'd be a lot of Rihannas. There's not.'"
