Snooki engaged and has a baby on the way

Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has received quite a bit of media attention recently, as the reality star has been reported to be engaged as well as expecting a child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle - but nothing has been officially confirmed as of late.

However, according to People Magazine, Polizzi was recently spotted wearing an engagement ring, which further fueled the rumors. It wasn't like planning a wedding would have been a complete shock to Polizzi, as she recently told the news source about the type of ring she was expecting.

"He knows it should be big, 'cause if it's small I'm saying no, like, 'Get another ring!'" the 24-year-old party girl told the publication in January.

According to The Huffington Post, MTV has yet to confirm if Polizzi is engaged and pregnant, but numerous other sources have leaked the news. Many are wondering what will happen to her image.

"I think Snooki's brand will be negatively affected by her recent pregnancy and news that she is considering marriage," Ronn Torossian, CEO of 5WPR, a leading PR agency, told the news source. "I don't think her brand is diverse or developed enough to be a reputable source for a product or service and certainly not in the Mommy space."
