Stand out like the stars in silver and gold

Silver and gold are two of the most popular metals to use when it comes to creating fabulous jewelry, which may be why it comes as no surprise that stylish A-listers Blake Lively and Jessica Alba have made each look their own. While both leading ladies are fashion chameleons, more recently, Alba turned heads with a slew of gold accessories, while Lively dazzled in major silver bling. Taking a note from either star is a must this summer.

Lively was seen strutting her stuff in New York City recently to support her hubby Ryan Reynolds at the premiere of his latest film, the animated "Turbo." Lively was stunning and ultra ladylike in silver and yellow gem-encrusted pencil skirt and a matching gray tank top, both from Burberry. The gorgeous California blonde added more oomph to the style thanks to her bold accessories.

Lively dazzled with her gorgeous diamond engagement ring on her left hand and an equally blinged out silver and diamond cocktail ring on the other. She also donned modest diamond drop earrings that peeked through her long, flowy locks. 

You could turn heads at the office or even a sophisticated cocktail party in a similar ensemble. The trick to helping the look stand out is adding a gorgeous ring (or two) just like Lively. This proud mother of two showed off her love for color during a recent appearance in Santa Monica, Calif., at which the actress signed copies of her new book, "The Honest Life." The eco-conscious star accentuated her naturally glowing skin wearing a gorgeous A-line Carolina Herrera skirt that boasted a yellow and orange abstract pattern along with a coral blouse, sheer-sleeved black blazer and bold yellow sandals from designer Brian Atwood, People magazine reports. 

While it may seem like she had plenty going on with this look, Alba included  the perfect amount of accessories by rocking a few gold pieces. The gorgeous leading lady added a bit of flair to her style thanks to a gold watch and bangle on one wrist, a simple gold necklace and modest gold earrings. The subtle gold color not only looked perfect against her skin tone, but helped to add a bit of luxury to her overall style.
