Steven Tyler announces engagement, fiance shows off ring

It was recently announced that Aerosmith's Steven Tyler popped the question to girlfriend Erin Brady on vacation in Hawaii over the holiday weekend, and details about the beautiful engagement ring have been released, according to People Magazine.

The couple have been together for the past five years, and it was reported that the proposal was a complete surprise to Brady. The ring was designed by jeweler Loree Rodkin, and Tyler helped pick out the stones and design it. The 5-carat ring is a brilliant-cut diamond that sits on a diamond and platinum band. The first sighting of the ring happened when the happy couple returned from their vacation.

"It's one of a kind, like all of her pieces," the spokesperson for Rodkin told the news source. "Steven has been a client of Loree's for many years, and often wears rings by her, as well as other jewelry."

This is the third marriage for Tyler. He wed clothing designer Teresa Barrik, which ended in 2006, and was also married to Cyrinda Foxe from 1978 to 1987.
