Valerie Bertinelli gets Walk of Fame star

Valerie Bertinelli looked nothing short of fabulous when she stepped out to receive her Walk of Fame Hollywood star recently. The starlet looked lovely in a beige lace dress with white heels and a simple bracelet. She was joined by her husband and son, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The ceremony comes five days before her show, Hot in Cleveland, starts production for the next season. Her co-stars, Jane Leeves, Betty White and Wendie Malick were also in attendance.

"When Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and I were putting together our dream cast for `Hot in Cleveland,' Valerie was on the top of the list," creator Suzanne Daniels told City News Service earlier this week. "Almost every day, someone asks me if she is as lovely and as lovable in person as she is on camera. We simply adore her."

According to USA Today, Jenny Craig hosted a luncheon after the ceremony for Bertinelli, who lost 40 pounds using its weight loss plan, and showed off her bikini body in 2009. The 52-year-old has kept her slim figure.
