Zoe Saldana stuns in silver frock

Zoe Saldana looked nothing short of stunning when she arrived at the New York City celebration for the inaugural issue of Cosmopolitan for Latinas. According to People Magazine, the half-Puerto Rican, half-Dominican actress donned a lacey Elie Saab dress, beautiful Irit Design jewels and silver Brian Atwood heels.

According to The Huffington Post, Saldana is the first cover girl for the new publication, an honor she is quite proud of. The actress is excited about the new magazine, which is geared toward Latinas in the United States, because she believes publications can bring about change.

"I never like to get political, but when you have the ability, through your media, to influence a large mass of people, I would want to be a part of the evolving cycle of progress vs. keeping things the way that they are. I think that I speak for a lot of us, Americans, that I would want to see a little more diversity," Saldana told the news source.
